Villa Borqraye

Here I take the Roman villa of antiquity, and append modern conveniences, such as glass windows and indoor plumbing. The overall program, pattern of circulation, and material palette are largely faithful to their Roman antecedents.

One major departure from precedent is construction method. Rather than rely on barbaric labor practices, Villa Borqraye is optimized for construction via concrete 3D-printing.
