The Dream Machine
Frustrated by being woken up at the wrong time and feeling groggy throughout the day, I built the Dream Machine. It's specially designed to wake me up at the exact right time in my sleep cycle. Not only does it measure my sleep, it wakes me up with music precisely calibrated to how well I've slept. This is all done thanks to a patent-pending mattress mesh, an imperceptible fabric placed below my pillow. The mesh passes information on my my sleep patterns to the alarm clock, which then decides when to wake me - all within a designated wakeup interval.
